Musee Bath makes handcrafted, natural bath products in Madison County, Mississippi with the mission of restoring lives by providing dignified work for vulnerable people in our community. We primarily hire women in recovery, people with disabilities, and people who have lived in chronic poverty.
As a Mississippi based company, we strive to help local communities and support charities that closely align with our mission.
Did you know that this year, over 250,000 women all across America will be diagnosed with breast cancer and many of these cases will be in Central Mississippi? Mississippi has the highest death rate for breast cancer in the entire United States.
For the last two years, Musee has partnered with fund for the girls, by donating a portion of proceeds that come from one of our favorite bath balms, This One’s For The Girls. We are so proud to support our local sisterhood, fund for the girls as they increase the awareness of breast cancer and support women in need by breaking down the financial barrier that prevents someone from seeking needed breast health services.
Since it officially began in August 2012, fund for the girls has raised over $950,000 and assisted over 1,800 patients ranging from 35 to 65 years old. Support has come from within the community through many individuals, businesses, schools, physicians, Baptist employees, patients, and board members.
Recently, Mississippi Baptist Medical Center acquired a specially-equipped van outfitted with leading-edge 3D Mobile Mammography technology (at a cost of $700,000) and send it out in our community where women live and work.
